help the professor understand why a hurricane forms
The second country he visited was Florida

A hurricane forms in cold areas, usually over the sea and cold regions. The cold causes the clouds to become thicker and larger, until they combine and create a storm in the shape of a cone – a hurricane, where the clouds move.
The hurricane forms from storm clouds that are carried to warmer areas in the ocean, usually above the equator, where the temperature is higher. This causes the sea water to evaporate and the air to become moist. The winds and water gather and begin to rise
The hurricane formed due to very cold weather meeting the ocean waters near the equator, which is a very hot area. The meeting of these two different temperatures causes storm clouds to form and descend over the water. The hurricane then continues from the sea to the land because of the strong winds over the ocean.

I’ve discovered how a hurricane forms, and I understand how it’s possible for this to happen in Florida. But I didn’t know it could happen with such power! A hurricane of this magnitude hasn’t occurred in 100 years!

You have reached Christopher's third destination – Antarctica.
What causes all the beautiful ice and snow surfaces?
Read again in the journal to find out what Christopher researched.
Ice fields and icebergs are formed by the freezing of water. Due to the low temperatures in Antarctica, ocean water undergoes a long freezing process, eventually turning into massive ice sheets.
All ice fields and icebergs begin with falling snow. The snowflakes are compressed by the weight of the snow that accumulates on top of them and eventually turn into dense masses of ice.
Ice fields and icebergs are formed from rain that falls. The rainwater on the ground, combined with the cold and low temperatures, freezes it and turns it into ice surfaces

After the floods and the terrible cold in Spain, I decided to move to a sunnier place – Florida, known for its warm and dry winters. But alas! As soon as I landed at the airport, an emergency announcement was heard through the speakers: "Everyone be careful! A huge storm is approaching us, take shelter in the safe rooms immediately!" How is it possible that a storm, and such a huge one, is happening in the dry winter of Florida?
