How to play

The aim of these activities is to boost students' oral skills especially within descriptive area as well as critical thinking. The set contains 3 groups of images with different topics and purposes. Each group is designed to encourage ss to practice their speaking in many different situations. The sets may also be used for ss with limited language to encourage them to create sentences based only on what they see.

* Let's talk

This set contains 10 images with accompanying words that should help ss create sentences about the pictures and help them develop their skills. By going from one question to another T can increase the difficulty or simply encourage the student to think about more ideas connected to the image.

* Can you imagine

This set contains more images that are picked at random and give ss more imaginative task. The ss need to describe fun, imaginary images that are going to help them speak about what they see. The images are accompanied by a set of prompts for T to use so that the ss could organize their speaking.

* What's the problem

This activity shows more realistic situations that are supposed to encourage the ss to talk about them on a more personal level. The images are also picked at random and T has a set of questions to follow in order to help ss talk about what they see.
