It was revealed at the very end that the library was a distraction. A figure we've seen a couple times before kidnapped Archmage Zephyr, the only member of the ruling Academy council that was present this year. Now without the chief protector of The Academy, the final plan of a mysterious enemy is underway. Link to the Adventure: Link to Google Doc with relevant codes needed to progress I ran the adventure with these rules, a group of students, and a set of quick recall questions. Feel free to make your own version!

A few students helped test out a mission earlier in the year to investigate the Grand Library when it was taken over by pirates. Both groups had to decide: would they save Horace Inkthistle, the kindly librarian, or a visiting member of foreign royalty named Ismara Loresong. Both groups chose to save Ismara Loresong. Both groups succeeded, but slightly differently. In the 7th grade ending, the group was overwhelmed by the final pirate captain boss, (we also ran out of time so not their fault.) Crunch tackled the pirate captain and both sank into the ocean never to be seen from again. (RIP Crunch) In the 6th grade ending, the group successfully defeated the final pirate captain, partly thanks to clever use of a poison apple item card. Crunch survived, though he was injured from battle. Ismara Loresong was saved, averting war with a neighboring nation. Horace Inkthistle, and a mysterious book were both stolen from the library by one of the pirate captains seen wandering around the library earlier in the year.

For this Side Quest, write a brief story about how you earned this title in the World of The Academy. Step 1: Open a new Google Doc. This side quest is a creative writing project. Write an at least one page story about how you earned your title. Why do people call you this? Write it as if you were a student in this world, and some adventure of event occurred where you earned your title. Step 2: Email this Google Doc link to Mr. Collins. 3:30AM list night something fell from the sky. A couple residents of Fort Starsky describe it as "metallic, and on fire." Whatever it is, the crater, and smoke plume are enormous. We sent in some Robots from the STLP Guild early this morning, they're reporting back that the smoke has toxic elements. We're going to have to wait for things to clear a bit before we can get human eyes on it. You're probably also aware that another star appeared in the sky just a few days ago. The weird one that seems to move across the sky at night. I can confirm that it is still there circling in the sky. Aye, hello there. I'm not here for the books, not today anyway. Me and my kin are working on clearing some of the rubble in the room over. If you see us running, best cover your ears and do the same, we're employing some pretty hefty explosives.

You may or may not have heard the news that Archmage Zephyr is gone. He was the only council member stationed at the Academy while the others were away. The attack on the Grand Library was a distraction, the Archmage was kidnapped right from the chamber by an enemy our intelligence operatives have designated as The Raven. I'm the highest ranking Academy operative left. We've long suspected that "Snappy" and many of the other RS-line robots were brought here from another world. The technology is too advanced. Even more advanced than the technology you describe from your world. These robots seem to be replicating exponentially. I made the call to take all civilains and staff here except for those at the crater. I want you to find the one we call The Professor. I saved a disc you'll want to listen to right now pertaining to our situation. I think we're nearly out of time.

This room was strangely by far the most intact, despite having a significant amount of rubble in and around it making it inaccessible. It appears to have been used as some sort of study area. We found materials and books written here within the last decade. Someone or something appears to have been able to access the room. Possibly some sort of monster or spirit. I am here to record and present any findings to Master Horace.
