Josef Mánes
Josef Mánes was born on May 12, 1820 in Prague, where he died in 1851.
Josef Mánes was a Czech painter, illustrator, graphic artist and designer, one of the most important representatives of Czech Romanticism.He was one of the most active artists of his generation, especially in the field of portraits. His body of work includes almost 500 items, including 130 oil paintings, around 150 watercolors, studies and drawings.

František Kupka
František Kupka (March 23, 1871 – May 16, 1957) was a Czech painter and pioneer of abstract art. He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague and later in Paris. Initially influenced by symbolism and impressionism, he transitioned to abstraction in the 1910s, focusing on color, shape, and emotion. Known for his geometric compositions, Kupka gained international recognition and became a key figure in modern art.

Josef Čapek
Josef Čapek was born on March 23, 1887 in Hronov, died in April 1945 in Germany.
Josef Čapek was a Czech artist, writer, and poet, known for his paintings, illustrations, and literary works. He collaborated with his brother, Karel Čapek, coining the word "robot" in their play R.U.R. A versatile artist, Josef created cubist paintings and wrote essays, stories, and plays. Arrested by the Nazis in 1939, he died in the Bergen-Belsen concentration camp in 1945.

Alfons Mucha
Alfons Mucha was born on July 24, 1860 in Ivančice, died on July 14, 1939 in Prague
Alfons Mucha was a prominent Czech painter and graphic artist, known for his work in the Art Nouveau style. His career took off through his collaboration with the French actress Sarah Bernhardt, for whom he created iconic posters. One of his most famous works is the series The Slav Epic, a collection of 20 monumental paintings depicting the history of the Slavs. Another famous piece is the poster "Gismonda", which he created for the Paris World's Fair in 1900, making him internationally renowned.
