For Example: Here the pay week runs from Thursday 4th to Wednesday 10th. Any shifts worked in this period would then be paid on the following friday - Friday 19th.
All team members are paid weekly, and our pay week runs Thursday-Wednesday with payment being made the following Friday. You but up holiday pay as you work, and it is kept in a 'separate pot' which you can keep track of and withdraw from via the app. Please note, you can only book holidays on days you are not already committed to work. Each holiday day should be submitted as 8 hours on the app. Once hired, you will be emailed your payroll. number. Keep a note of this as you will need it to access your payslip on the Reward Hub.
Pay rates are as per the job description & advert.

Holiday Requests
Holiday Pay
Holiday Requests are submitted via the Humanforce app and must be taken as a full 8-hour day. Please consult this little guide on how to submit holiday requests.
1. Log on to the Humanforce app
2. Tap Calendar
3. Tap a date that you would like to request holiday (please ensure this is not a day you are scheduled to work)
4. Tap the yellow plus button in the bottom right-hand corner
5. Tap LEAVE
6. Ensure that the type of leave requested is HOLIDAY LEAVE (not unpaid leave)
7. Request 8 hours (you can only request 8 hours per day, if you want to request more, then select another day and submit another 8 hours)
8. Tap ‘apply for leave’.
9. This will then be approved by the People Deployment team every Thursday for the previous pay week
10. It will appear on your payslip as holiday
As a casual , you accrue holiday as you work with us. Although Humanforce shows your holiday accrual as hours, holiday is based on days accrued. The way it is calculated is:
- For every week you work (Thursday—Wednesday), if that is 1 or 8 days, you accrue 0.54 days of holiday.
- The amount of money accrued that week into your holiday accrual pot is 12.07% of what is earnt.
- E.g. If you earn £100 over two weeks, you have £12.07 in your money pot, and you will have accrued 1.08 days. If you then claim that day’s holiday, you will receive just under £12.07 of holiday pay.
- It completely depends how much you earn each week as to how much holiday will be paid.

All staff in our Premier Crew are eligable to join our Training Track. We offer courses on Bar, Barista, Premium Services, People Mangagement and more. Those who excel in the Training Track are eligable for our progression into Team Leader, Supervisor, and Manager roles.
Barista shifts are worked in Cafes both in retail and events. Must have previous barista experiance or have completed Barista Training
All staff start on this role - unless previous experiance qaulfies them for others.Progression into other roles is acheived through training.
Bar Support is the standard Bar Shift. Must have previous bar experiance or have completed Bar Training

Where assisstance is needed for Set up/ Breakdown these shifts are made available. Must be able to cart heavy tables and supplies.
Premium Bar shifts are only available to staff who have complete the Premium Bar Training Course. Higher pay is available for these shifts.
Premium Waiter shifts are only available to staff who have complete the Premium Customer Service Training Course. Higher pay is available for these shifts.
This shift involves working alongside the Chefs in plating, clearing, and preparing dishes. Additional training may be required.
Where staff have pervious experiance they are eligable for KP shifts. Alternatively you must undergo a KP Training Course.

What we do
The Employee Forum strives to advance Heritage Portfolio’s mission to develop a stronger more people-oriented workplace culture. Our forum has undergone a recent revamp, and we would love to have you onboard for what promises to be an exciting year ahead!
In November 2024, we set out an ambitious new structure, and set of achievable goals – one of which being increasing the forum’s representation of our workforce.
The Forum is made up of a group of employees who represent all sectors of those who work for Heritage Portfolio, and which uses this diverse representation to table issues that matter to our employees, to bring feedback, and to drive conversations between leadership and our workforce.
Our forum is divided up into 4 groups all focusing on different issues which impact our teams:
- Feedback and Engagement
- Health and Wellbeing
- Accessibility and Inclusivity
- Sustainability and Outreach
Each group is led by people across the company who are passionate about the topics, and inspired to drive change.
