INPUT AND OUTPUT DEVICES

Input and output devices are those devices that are used to communicate with the computer and different devices. We will now go on to specify the difference:

INPUT DEVICES:

INPUT devices are those devices that receive incoming instructions given by the programmer. They communicate directly with computers. Some examples of input devices are:
  • Mouse
  • Keyboard

OUTPUT DEVICES:

  • OUTPUT devices are those devices that receive output information, such as:
  • PRINTER, which serves to physically print out what is done on the monitor
  • MONITOR , which serves to illustrate the various functions of the computer.
