Communicate
A great title
With Genially templates, you can include visual resources to amaze your audience. You can also highlight a specific phrase or piece of information that will be engraved in your audience's memory and even embed external content that surprises: videos, photos, audios... Whatever you want!
Did you know...
The window allows you to add more extensive content. You can enhance your Genially by incorporating PDFs, videos, text... The content of the window will appear when clicking on the interactive element.
Application Layer:
- The application layer is the top layer of the OSI model. It provides the interface and protocols for end-user applications to communicate over a network. This layer handles services like email, file transfer, and web browsing, using protocols such as HTTP, FTP, and SMTP. It directly interacts with software applications to enable network communication.
Interactive visual communicationstep by step:
- Plan your communication structure.
- Prioritize and visually emphasize the main points.
- Define secondary messages with interactivity.
- Establish a flow throughout the content.
- Measure the results.
Session Layer
- The session layer manages and controls communication sessions between devices. It establishes, maintains, and terminates sessions, ensuring data is exchanged in an organized manner. It also handles dialogue control (full or half-duplex) and synchronization (like checkpoints for resuming interrupted sessions).
Data-link layer...
The Data Link Layer ensures reliable data transfer over a physical link using framing, error detection, MAC addressing, and flow control. It manages access to the medium (Ethernet, Wi-Fi) and enables device communication within a network.

With Genially templates, you can include visual resources to leave your audience speechless. You can also highlight a specific phrase or data that will be etched in the memory of your audience, and even embed external content that surprises: videos, photos, audios... Whatever you want!
Presentation Layer:
- The presentation layer is responsible for translating, encrypting, and compressing data for the application layer. It ensures that data sent between systems is in a readable format, handling tasks like data encoding (e.g., ASCII, JPEG) and encryption/decryption to maintain security. It also deals with data compression to optimize transmission.
Transport layer
The transport layer is responsible for reliable end-to-end communication between devices over a network. It handles tasks like breaking data into smaller segments, error detection, flow control, and ensuring that data is delivered correctly. Key protocols include TCP (reliable, connection-oriented) and UDP (faster, connectionless). It ensures efficient and error-free data transmission between devices.
Did you know...
Did you know that 90% of the information we assimilate comes through sight? Visual resources are very helpful to reinforce your message: images, illustrations, gifs, videos... Not only because they stay in memory, butalso because they are more attractive and easierto understand.
'Your content is liked, but it engages much more when it's interactive'

Physical layer...
The Physical Layer is responsible for transmitting raw bits over a physical medium like cables or wireless signals. It defines hardware specifications, transmission modes (simplex, half-duplex, full-duplex), and encoding methods. Common technologies include Ethernet cables, fiber optics, Wi-Fi, and hardware like NICs and hubs. It ensures bit transmission but does not handle addressing or security

Network layer...
The Network Layer manages routing and addressing to ensure data packets reach their destination across multiple networks. It handles IP addressing, packet forwarding, and path selection. Key protocols include IPv4, IPv6, ICMP, and routing protocols (OSPF, BGP).
