Roma diventa più organizzata e più potente.

🏛️ 1. Riforme politiche e amministrative

(letteralmente "Pace Romana") è uno dei più grandi successi di Augusto,infatti: ✔ Le guerre civili finiscono e non ci sono più scontri interni per il potere. ✔ Le strade diventano più sicure, così il commercio fiorisce. ✔ Le province romane smettono di ribellarsi di continuo perché Augusto le amministra meglio. ✔ Cresce l'economia e Roma diventa ancora più ricca. L'Impero cresce grazie a questo per quasi 200 anni!

☮ 2. Pax Romana

Augusto investe moltissimo per rendere la città più efficiente e bella. ✔ Fa costruire strade nuove ✔ Migliora acquedotti e fognature ✔ Abbellisce Roma con templi, fori e monumenti, tra cui l’Ara Pacis, un altare che celebra la Pax Romana . ✔ Espande i confini dell’Impero, conquistando nuove terre in Spagna, Germania e nei Balcani.

Il popolo romano odiava i re. Quindi Augusto, invece di chiamarsi "imperatore", si definiva Princeps, facendo finta di essere solo un servitore dello Stato… ma in realtà comandava tutto lui. 😏 ✔ Usa statue e monete per diffondere la sua immagine ovunque. ✔ Si fa vedere come un leader giusto e vicino al popolo.
