Seashells necklace

This necklace represents our departure from Tahiti.On our island, when people leave, the tradition is to give them a shell necklace to say goodbye. This is very meaningful because it will allow them to keep memories of their island and the people who are important to them.

Swim short

When I arrived in france I still had tahitian clothes so I had to adapt to france's cold climate and start wearing jeans and down jackets.These short symbolize the moment when I had to change my clothing style to adapt to the French climate. That's why I had to leave these short.

Sunglasses

My sunglasses are much more than just an accessory.They're a symbol of my identity, of my roots in Tahiti. They remind me of my way of life there, where sun, sea and warmth are part of everyday life. They show my way of looking at life, with lightness and a spirit always turned towards the sun, even when it's hiding.

Beer

It symbolizes our meeting.They started to teach me a few words in Tahitian. We also talked about the differences between Tahiti and Toulouse. I found it pretty funny to see them wearing shorts, t-shirts and sunglasses when the weather was not so nice. Then after this last event, we went out together and I also discovered their way of partying: music, dancing and lots of laughter! They even made me taste Tahitian beer!
