Crow (Apsáalooke)
- A misinterpretation lead to the creation of the tribe's name "Crow." Originally Apsáalooke was known to represent "children of the large-beaked bird." - Crow capital is known as Crow Agency.

Little Shell Band of Chippewa (Annishinabe and Métis)
- For most of the tribe's history, they were without a reservation. Therefore, many members are spread throughout Montana. - They consists of a federally-recognized tribe of the Objiwe nation.
Flathead reservation
Salish (Sélish) / Pend d’Orielle (Qĺispé) / Kootenai (Ksanka)
-Ranked fourth in land base at over 1.2 million acres. -Out of 7,443 enrolled Salish and Kootenai tribal members, 65% live within the reservation.
Fort belknap reservation
Gros Ventre (A’aninin) / Assiniboine (Nakoda, Nakona)
-An area of over 675,000 acres consisting of mostly rolling plains. -Two tribes call Fort Belknap home, the Nakoda, and the Gros Ventre.
Blackfeet reservation
Blackfeet (Niitsitapi (Pikuni))
- One of the 10 largest tribes in the United States. -Established in 1855. -Home to 17,321 Blackfeet members.

Chippewa Cree (Ojibwe) / Annishinabe
-"Rocky Boy" meaning "Stone Child" derived from name of Chippewa leader.

- The Reservation is home to two nations: - The Assiniboinet - The Sioux. - Fort Peck allows for both native and non-native residents.
