BILINGUAL PROGRAMME

Our school has been implementing the bilingual programme in English for only 3 years (school year 2022-23). Since then, we have grown leaps and bounds and our main goal is to improve continuously, trying to offer our students the best tools to make up the best possible education so that they could succeed in their future careers. This growth has been possible thanks to a committed teaching staff with the support of the school directors board and the invaluable help of our previous language assistant. In order to internacionalize our school, we have already engaged in Erasmus+ programme mobilities both for students and teachers, school exchange programmes, and language immersions in UK, Ireland and Spain, too, working collaboratively in projects dealing with diversity, inclusion, learning a language, environmental issues, culture and traditions amongst other topics.

Thanks to all these activities, our students have had the opportunity to broaden their minds and have a new enriching perspective about life in general and from the countries they have visited in particular, making it possible to create new expectations and willingness to step forward steadily in the target of a better academical and professional future for them. Hence, for us and for our students, a language assistant is a valuable help to obtain these objetives because they play an important role in the gear assembly of the bilingual programme as facilitators, providers, counsellors, role models, mediators and expertises in a foreign language working collaboratively with the teachers of linguistic and Non-linguistic subjects as well as with the whole teaching staff and the students in our school .
