How is this society delimited ?

- A society based on wealth and possessions. Rich people get to live at the Summit, the superior place. - All other individuals must live on the ground, or underground ; in the Undermost.

II- The System

• Rule of law does not exist, they all obey the Tri Kuta of the Army

• Has an imminity to justice and punishement

• To not be contaminated by the toxic air, they have to wear masks

• Has a hierarch, with ranks

There is only one model who's accepted. Everthing's different is a threat and a deviant.

the modele in the summit: a strong, white, heterosexual,cisgender men or women

• When a Summit person is judged deviant, they are thrown out into the Undermost.

• Undermost's deviant people are emprissoned in Gehenna.

• They have to have their blood pumped until they collapse, every day.

• When they died, their organs will be used for experiments.

• Undermost people have to worked in factories under the army's surveillance, with a chip implanted in their neck very day

• There is no funeral rites

• While the population is goung, they have to go to Learning Centers

• All of the Undermost are illiterate, on purpose

• They are the only one in the Undermost to be literate

• Older generations passed on their legacy (knowledge to read, write and history) to the youngers

The climate change crisis caused :

- the rise of sea level and the submersion of continents - the disappearance of the ozone layer thus global warming - the mass extinction of 3/4 of all species (fishes, insects, mammals..) - 3/5 of the entire human population died

Conclusion :

Elysium is a cut-in-half city, where rich people get to live in the Summit, a futuristic place. Everyone else has survived in the Undermost, living with scraps.

• Elysium is lead by three men, known as the Tri Kuta.
• the army and mass-surveillance are omnipresent
• every "deviant" to the model is tortured and killed in order to keep the purity of Elysium
• the education is very controlled and the popuation is illiterated on purpose
• despite it all, a spark of rebellion is startting to begun, named Cykel
