A smashed glass vial

This is what appears to be a once sealed glass tube that has been dropped and smashed. It looks like there are a few drops of liquid inside the glass. It smells weird and it makes people kinda sleepy when they smell it. Was it once full of liquid?

An unusual find

A poor rat has been trodden on. It is dead.

Footprints

The floor had just been cleaned a few minutes before the Golden Egg was stolen. But now there are footprints on the floor. They must belong to the burglar.

An unkown powder

The criminal must have dropped some powder of some sort. We do not yet know what this is.

The burglar on camera!

The burglar was caught on the security cameras. It is impossible to tell who it is. We can't really see if it is a man or a woman. They have hidden themselves well.

The guard's desk

Day and night, the Golden Egg is watched by a guard who sits at a desk. Why didn't they try to stop the burglar? They have a laptop and a glass of orange juice on the desk.
