Educational Level
In our high school you will work with students from the high school stage. They are students from 11 to 18 years old. The bilingual program is carried out from 1st year to 4th year of Compulsory Secondary Education.
Bilingual Subjects
In our high school we have three non-linguistic bilingual subjects: Biology and Geology Geography and History TechnologyIn addition, you could also enter in the English class to support the English teacher with cultural aspects from your country.
Town and neighbourhood: El Ejido
El Ejido is a town located in the south of the province of Almeria,
inhabited by approximately 83,800 people and about 32 km away
from the city of Almeria itself. It is a territory surrounded by mountains (the Gádor mountain
range), beaches, ravines, salt flats and a dune complex that makes
up the Punta Entinas-Sabinar Natural Reserve.The climate of the region is Mediterranean, with mild winters
(12°C) and hot summers (28°C). The economy of El Ejido is based on intensive agriculture,
managed through greenhouses, which are found throughout the
landscape of the region.
What can the town/neighborhood offer a Language Assistant?
The town has a library, an auditorium where performances of
different kinds are held, shops of all kinds, supermarkets, health
center and hospital, pharmacies, restaurants, language school,
gym with a pool and skate park, pubs and concert hall, among
others.

The town has a shopping center on the outskirts where, in addition
to shops and restaurants, there is also a cinema. In addition, the
IMD (Municipal Sports Institute) allows renting various spaces to
practice sports, such as paddle tennis courts. Other points of
interest include Almerimar, a beach town just 10 minutes far away by car full of restaurants, a harbour and with many water activities to practice such as surfing or rowing.
Getting to the school
If you decide to live in El Ejido, you can usually access the educational center
on foot, but if you don't like walking, we also have public

Prom Day!
The students of 4 ESO were learning with Sam how American students celebrate proms in the USA. Our studens designed their own graduation caps and voted for the best mates in their classes. They received a certification too! They had a lot of fun! Thank you Sam!

Bilingual Contest
Five of our students of 1º ESO were classified to participate in the provincial bilingual contest, in which they competed with other high schools of the province in different tasks and games. Biliingual trivial, "pasapalabra", karaoke, poster competition and skills tests. Sam helped us to pepare the project!

Christmas Challenge
The language assistant created a gymkhana. Before the Christmas break our students from the bilingual program of the 4th year of CSE participated in a Christmas challenge with the help of our language assistant Sam. After some small challenges and games, our students learnt in an enjoyable way about the traditions in the USA during Christmas
