What is a Needs Assessment?
Why is this necessary? Implementing these can allow us to learn about gaps in our own trainings and develop trainings specifically based off of our sales team needs. By knowing the needs of others, we can directly implement knowledge, skills, and behaviors to adress the gaps.
A needs assessment is a process for determining and adressing gaps between current knowledge and desired knowledge.

For Sales Team
This would be a more basic version of a needs assessment. This could be sent approxiamately 2 months after they attend New Hire training.
- Rating scale of core competencies in product and business knowledge, selling skills, technology skills, etc.
- Can also gather qualitative data and allow them to share what it is they still need from us to succeed
- 2 months after new hire allows them to get time in the field and use their prior knowledge to think about what gaps they may still have
- Specific Goals outlined with essential skills and knowledge attached to each
- Created by our team and sent to RDs for rating scale
Annually for RDs
This is a more in depth, high level, version of a needs assessment
