As a rule, you could add that during seasonal events flagging will only occur if there is a price drop, indicating a promotion took place, or if there is 80% ACV or promo volume, suggesting a promotion occurred during this period.

Have these TPM promotions correctly been removed? Response: Yes, as we don’t see the most important metrics of promo indications being uplift & price drop. (PRICE_FLAGGING_DROP_PERC & MISSING_MULTIPLIER) You do see a lot of promo volume on some weeks, but you can never solely flag on promo volume as these are not always accurate in sellout (eg Nielsen can indicate displays only as also promo volume, ..) If you want to use promo volume as a metric to flag you should always combine it with lift rule

During neutral weeks, you would expect the base price to equal the weekly price. This discrepancy results in a constant 2% or more price drop, which will trigger flaggings if your rule is set at 2% for that CUSTOMER/CATEGORY pair. To resolve this issue, you should contact your Data Analyst to adjust the base price accordingly.
