Credit Requirements

Press each number below to explore what classes are offered in each category and what course requirements there are for graduation.

You must schedule a minimum of 5.5 credits for the next school year. To graduate from CCA, you need a minimum of 21 credits.

HOW DO I CHOOSE CLASSES?

English (4 credits)

English courses are 1 credit each and match the grade level for the student.

Math courses are 1 credit each. You must pass Algebra (or both Algebra 1A and 1B).

In grade 11 or 12, you must pass Personal Finance. You may take Consumer Math, which is a 1 credit math class, instead.

Trying to figure out your path for math? Find which math you are in this year and then followed the line straight down to the next grade level.For example:

  • If you are in Algebra I as a 9th grader, you should choose Geometry for your 10th grade year.
  • If you are in Algebra 1A as a 10th grader, you should choose Algebra 1B for your 11th grade year.

  • a science course that builds knowledge you will need in life
    • watching the weather? take meteorology
