Use clear and positive language that is appropriate for their generation. Be mindful of your verbal and non-verbal communication. Validate their feelings and experiences to show that you are listening to and understanding them.

Finding your right place

Finding your right place means understanding and accepting your role, your limits, your needs in the professional context, in order to feel balanced, respected and at your true measure.

This will create a trusting environment conducive to rich exchanges and the establishment of a healthy and lasting relationship.

Digital Communication

Verbal communication encompasses all exchanges that occur through spoken or written language. It is the most explicit and direct form of communication.

Analog communication

Analog communication refers to messages transmitted without words, through non-verbal signs: gestures, postures, facial expressions, intonation, gaze …

Cognitive empathy

Cognitive empathy is the ability to intellectually understand what another person is feeling, without necessarily feeling their emotions yourself.

Engage them and value their contributions

Involve young people in decisions that affect them. Consider their ideas and suggestions. Acknowledge their efforts and achievements. This will strengthen their sense of value and belonging. Avoid assumptions and hasty judgments.
