Kickoff
The kickoff marks the start of the First Robotics Competition and reveals the new game, which is the annual challenge that defines the season's robot tasks and objectives for the championship. The event happens Jan. 4.
District and regional events
District and regional events allow team's to compete on and qualify for the For Inspiration and Recognition of Technology Championship. These events are included in the teams registration fee.
FIRST Championship
The grand finale of the FIRST season connects over 18,600 students, mentors and volunteers to celebrate science and technology. Teams from around the world qualify for the FIRST Championship through District or Regional events.
