Content Objective (CO): Students will analyze the conversation between Mama and Beneatha in A Raisin in the Sun to understand the characters’ perspectives on Walter. They will identify and discuss the themes of pride, family, and resilience in the scene.

Language Objective (LO): Students will use key vocabulary (blemish, coward, despise, epitaph, navigate, overcome, privilege) to describe Walter’s character and the challenges faced by the Younger family. They will express their ideas through discussion and written responses using complete sentences.
