- See all their courses' individual progress bar from My courses (Dashboard)
- Courses structured using

- 'tiles view' shows the progress bar at the top and a pie chart.
Student can
- Track their progress within a topic area IF the instructor has enabled Activity Completion
- Two types of Activity Completion conditions: Manually check-off 'done' or Meet one or more requirements set by the instructor, and it's automatically 'done'.

- open and close the course index
- choose to expand and see a granular list of course content OR collapse and see only topic levels
- use the course index as a bookmark for where they last left IF the instructor has enabled 'activity completion' for the content and activities in a topic.
