Pour répondre à cette question on utilise également l’auxiliaire to be pour renforcer le mot yes ou le mot no. Réponse affirmative: → Yes, I am Réponse négative: → No, I am not

Pour faire une phrase interrogative avec l’auxiliaire to be, il suffit d’inverser le sujet et le verbe dans une phrase affirmative. Phrase affirmative:You are angry.→ Tu es en colère. Phrase interrogative:Are you angry?→ Es-tu en colère ?

Introduction : Les auxiliaires sont des mots un peu spéciaux. Ils peuvent être utilisés comme des verbes classique, mais ils peuvent aussi permettre de conjuguer d’autres verbes. Outils très important en langue anglaise, les auxiliaires to be, to have et to do servent à former les formes négatives et les formes interrogatives des phrases anglaises. Voyons donc chacun des auxiliaires et comment les utiliser.

Pour créer une question, il suffit de rajouter l’auxiliaire to do devant une phrase. Exemple Phrase affirmative: You eat chocolate. → Tu manges du chocolat Phrase interrogative: Do you eat chocolate? → Est-ce que tu manges du chocolat?
