lucio corsi INTRODUCTION

his life

Lucio Corsi is an Italian singer-songwriter. He's from Grosseto, but now he lives in Milano. His parents are from Tuscany too and his mother, Nicoletta Rabiti was a amateur painter, while her father, Marco Corsi, has done various jobs, including operator for Rai, bricklayer and leather craftsman.

His fame

He became famous after participating in Sanremo's festival of 2025. Before that he always devoted himself to music, even if with less success and less fame.

Do not run away from your fears but chase them!

musical context

He became passionate about music by watching The Blues Brothers as a child and composed his first songs at a very young age, starting to perform in clubs and squares of his hometown in 2011. So, after graduating high school he moved to Milano to undertake a musical career.

Volevo essere un duro... Però non sono nessuno, non sono nato con la faccia da duro...

""Volevo essere un duro""

After this he wrote lots of songs and albums, although without much success. But his new song "Volevo essere un duro" became quickly his most famous song. It has already entered the hearts of many, as has the singer-songwriter, with is beautiful character.

In this song Lucio talks about wanting to be tough, someone who isn't afraid of anything. But as the song progresses he realizes that he's not like that at all, but is a normal person with fears and insecurities like everyone else. It is a beautiful meaning that can teach a lot.

CURIOSITY

Lucio corsi at Sanremo

On the cover night of the Sanremo festival he decided to do his duet with a rather special character: Topo Gigio! They sang together "Nel blu dipinto di blu" a song by Migliacci, author of great songs in the Italian language. Where Topo Gigio was played by a nice puppet and his little mouse voice.

He participated in the Sanremo Festival this year with his song "Volevo essere un duro" which was very well received and appreciated by the whole group, making him come second in the final ranking, before Olly, the festival winner. He brought his whole way of being to the festival: dressing in clothes simply made by him and not by famous brands or playing two instruments in the same song.

I'm really happy for Olly and I'm really pround of him. He deserved the first position.
