Summary
In Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, Harry returns to Hogwarts for his third year, only to learn that the infamous prisoner Sirius Black has escaped from Azkaban and is believed to be after him. Meanwhile, the school is guarded by Dementors, dark creatures that feed on fear and affect Harry more than anyone else. With the help of his friends Ron and Hermione, as well as his new Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher, Professor Lupin, Harry uncovers hidden truths about his past, challenges his fears, and learns that not everything—or everyone—is as they seem.
