Journal

Lesson 5

  1. Complete a journal page for lesson 5 in a spiral notebook or alternative journal.
  2. Use complete sentences to answer the journal prompt. Be sure to use capital letters and punctuation in your sentences. If you can't write sentences yet, it's okay to ask for help or start by just writing a few words. Don't worry-You'll be writing sentences in no time! These are skills that you are still practicing so do your best and know it's okay to ask a grown-up for help. Mistakes will happen as you practice, it's just important that you always do your best and keep trying.
  3. Draw a picture to go with your journal entry.
  4. Check your writing using your writer's checklist.
  5. Be sure to keep the page to show your teacher.
