What are "Lindor"?
Lindor are chocolates produced by the famous Swiss company Lindt and Sprüngli or Lindt. They are among the most loved chocolates in the world and are sold in different flavors, such as milk chocolate, dark chocolate, white chocolate, nut chocolate and many special editions. Lindt, is known for its craftsmanship and for introducing some of the most revolutionary techniques in chocolate making. And we can find it everywhere now, from shops to TV, with their famous pubblicity.
The history of Lindor
The Lindor Chain: A Sensory Experience
Lindor is not just a normal chocolate, but a real experience. When we open a Lindor chocolate, we know that something special awaits us. But why does this mechanism work so well? Because our brain loves experiences that combine curiosity and gratification. When we bite into a Lindor, the contrast between crunchiness and creaminess gives us immediate pleasure, stimulating the release of dopamine, the happiness hormone, and pushing us to repeat the experience. In the end, we can say that it is the same as a mystery box.

Consideration:
Lindt now has: surprise boxes with some flavor mixes; limited edition seasonal chocolates and monthly subscriptions, with various discounts. But in my opinion Lindt needs to put interactive experiences, for example online mystery boxes where they could put in addition to Lindor: QR codes with access to special content, such as videos on the production of chocolate or challenges to guess the flavors or surveys for the creation of new chocolates.
Thank you for your attention!!
The perfect partner
At the Sprüngli factory, a certain Rodolphe Lindt, the son of a pharmacist, had just started producing chocolate in solid form. Lindt continued to experiment tirelessly to make it more tasty. One Friday evening, after months of testing, he left the factory and forgot to turn off the conching machine. The conching continued, without stopping, all weekend. When he returned to the factory on Monday morning, a pleasant surprise awaited him: the chocolate Lindt found was delicately smooth and had a balanced dark flavor, "that melts in the mouth."In fact, thanks to this discovery, the company's name was changed to "Lindt and Sprungli".

The pioneers of chocolate
The inimitable taste of Lindt chocolate tells a story of tradition, passion and quality. In fact, starting in 1845, the first great success was born in a small pastry shop in Marktgasse in the old town of Zurich, where the pastry chefs David Sprüngli and his son Rudolf Sprüngli-Ammann produced the first solid chocolate bar and ,in 1847, a factory called Schleifetobel was opened in Horgen, which began producing these bars in large quantities, in addition to the Sprungli factory.

From the 50s to 2000
In 1952, Lindt Gold Bunny first appeared on the shelves. Inspired by his daughter, a Master Chocolatier created a chocolate bunny and wrapped it in gold foil and he wrapped a red ribbon with a little bell around its neck. Today, Lindt Gold Bunny is the symbol of Lindt Easter. Then, Lindt created the famous red Lindor wrapper, which from then on would wrap the iconic pralines. In 1972, Lindt developed a new, cutting-edge technology in chocolate production: the Lindt & Sprungli Chocolate Process (LSCP). In 1998, Lindt acquired the oldest chocolate company in the United States, the Ghirardelli Chocolate Company.

From 2000 to today
In 2000, they expanded their network of Lindt brand stores around the world. In 2011, Lindt Teddy was launched for the Christmas holidays. In the end, in 2013, the Lindt Group founded the Lindt Cocoa Foundation to protect the environment in connection with chocolate production. By ensuring sustainable agriculture, the Lindt Cocoa Foundation complements efforts to improve the living and working conditions of cocoa farmers.

The early twentieth century
During the First World War, the Swiss chocolate industry was particularly flourishing and Lindt & Sprüngli contributed significantly to its success and during the Second World War, they weathered the storm without sacrificing their principles and high quality standards. In the 1920, Lindt & Sprüngli began its expansion abroad, establishing distribution branches in Germany and the United States. In the 1930, an economic crisis halted exports. In 1949, they stumbled upon a chocolate so luxuriously smooth that it resembled molten gold that they named it Lindor and initially, it was presented as an incredibly dark chocolate bar.
