How to use

The aim of these activities to either teach, check or revise how much your ss know. The set contains the explanation of COUNTABLE vs UNCOUNTABLE nouns in the form of a short diagram and later practice. The ss can revise the expressions connected with quantity as well as practice the understanding of difference between countable and uncountable nouns. The set contains also further practice that puts these expressions in context. The set gives T a chance to present the topic, practice the structure and reinforce it. There are also activities to activate the vocabulary in a spoken form.
* Let's practice
* Let's learn
Let's learn 1 contains simple graphs explaining the differences between Countable and Uncountable nouns with accompanying examples to illustrate the idea. Let's learn 2 contains categorizing exercise where ss need to divide the words. They learn which words go with which nouns. Use this activity as self-exploration for students to understand. Let's learn 3 - another categorizing exercise, but this time it teaches ss to understand the amounts. SS need to match the correct words to C and U as well as to the quantity.
Set 1, 2 and 3 give ss a chance to understand more the difference between countable an uncountable nouns. They need to pick the words in groups to complete the activity. When they finish categorizing, by clicking PLAY, they are encouraged to speak about things they have or not and in what quantities - target language - I have a lot of birds. I have much water in my fridge. Slide 4 - gives ss a follow-up practice in sentences with multiple answers.
