First step: Intent to Return (itr)

Step 1: On a computer, log in to Edio.Step 2: Navigate to your learner's profile. Step 3: Click on the "forms and testing" tab. Step 4: Choose box labeled for the ITR form. Step 5: Compete & submit the ITR.
Caretakers should follow these stepsto complete the ITR:

ALL STUDENTS, EVEN SENIORS, NEED TO HAVE A COMPLETED ITR.
- Summer Session invitations are sent by homeroom teachers, guidance counselors, or assistant principals. This should be taking place beween March 3 and April 11, 2025.
- Please be sure to check for communications from CCA. If your learner is invited, an RSVP is required, and that form will be open from May 19 through June 15.
- Generally, learners are permitted to take up to one full credit hour during SS.
- Some students may be registered for two full credit hours ONLY with their assistant principal's approval.
- It is strongly recommended that learners who are choosing to take an accelerated (ACC) course only take one credit/course.

How to Register for Courses
- Course selection is open from Monday, 3/3/25, through Friday, 4/11/25.
- Your course selection request confirmation should be emailed to you on approximately Monday, 5/19/25.
- If you would like to request any changes, you must contact your student's guidance counselor by 5/30/25.
- Please remember that your learner's homeroom teacher is available to help you with this process. You can book a meeting with the homeroom teacher by using the link found on the homeroom homepage in Edio.

- If your learner is intersted in adding a career readiness feature to their schedule for the 2025-2026 school year, your first step (after completing the ITR) is to schedule a meeting with one of CCA's career consultants. You can do so using the link below.

SS invites come from HR teacher, guidance counselor, or assistant principal. If you have questions, please reach out to your learner's homerom teacher.
Some guidelines include (but are not limited to):
SS Eligibility
- Learner demonstrated committed engagement throughout the school year.
- Learner did not have more than 30 unexcused absences.
- Learner has final grade between 40% - 59%.
- Caretaker must download and use EdioGo to stay in contact with CCA and monitro student work progress during the Summer Session.
Accelerated (ACC) Courses
- ACC courses are offerend on a "first come, first served" basis.
- Courses are the full-year version of the course condensed into 5 weeks.
- ACC course will be 5 posted lessons days (Monday - Friday) with synchronous instruction and with open office hours (Monday - Friday).
- Synchronous attendance is optional for students.
- Learners should be prepared to spend approximately 4 or more hours in teh course each day to successfully complete the course during the 5 week Summer Session.
Credit Recover (CR) Courses
- CR courses will be 4 posted lesson days (Monday through Thursday) with synchronus instruction, and 1 posted assessment (Friday).
- There will be open office hours Monday through Friday.
- Synchronous attendance is optional for students.
- Learners should be prepared to spend approximately 4 or more hours in the course each day to successfully compelte the course during the 5 week Summer Session.
