  1. Take out your journal and turn to the first open page.
  2. Write today's date on the page.
  3. Use complete sentences to answer the journal prompt. Be sure to use capital letters and punctuation in your sentences. These are skills that you are still practicing so just do your best and it's okay to ask a grown-up for help. Mistakes will happen as you practice but it's important that you always do your best and keep trying.
  4. Draw a picture to go with your journal entry.
