"I am Pim Cuijpers, Professor Emeritus of Clinical Psychology and Director of the WHO Collaborating Centre for Research and Dissemination of Psychological Interventions at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. My work specializes in conducting randomized controlled trials and meta-analyses on the prevention and psychological treatment of common mental disorders across the lifespan. I have published more than 1,300 peer-reviewed papers, chapters, reports, and professional publications, including over 1,050 papers in international peer-reviewed scientific journals. I currently serve as Editor-in-Chief of the *Journal of Consulting and Clinical Psychology* and was recently honored with the 2024 APA Award for Distinguished Professional Contributions to Applied Research."
