The company was set up as a public limited company and renamed CIMPOR - CIMENTOS DE PORTUGAL, S.A.

1991

Incorporation of CIMPOR - CIMENTOS DE PORTUGAL, E.P.

2012

InterCement's takeover bid for Cimpor was completed in June 2012.

2018

On 26 October 2018, the OYAK Group signed an agreement with InterCement to buy the assets and respective operations of CIMPOR's Portugal and Cape Verde Business Unit.

2024

Acquisition of the whole of CIMPOR PT and CV by TCC Group Holdings
