The Class of 2026 is seeking donations of gift cards valued at $10-100 for restaurants, grocery stores, gas and retail as well as any raffle prizes (concert/sports tickets, gift baskets etc.) that can be used for a potential calendar fundraiser for the month of March. All donations can be dropped off to Chef Clarke or the main office attention Class of 2026 by February 14th. Please reach out to Samantha Clarke at sclarke@oldcolony.us

Greetings Old Colony Community,
We have made it to February. The “Groundhog” is predicting six more weeks of Winter. Of course I put little faith in Phil. I haven’t seen a hearty winter since 2015. Spring is not far away and soon we will see the crocuses and hear the “crack” of the (baseball) bat. Our sports teams are providing excitement around the school.
Congratulations to the coaches and all the players for your hard work. Come out and support them. The Drama Club just wrapped up Northwoods Nonsense. The show was raucous, ludicrous, hilarious, and rousing. The actors truly brought the house down. February break begins on the 14th.
When we return, hopefully everyone will feel energized from having a week off. I would be remiss in not recognizing Beth Botelho, Maria Szymanski, and Kathy Peterson and all who helped with this year’s Frosty Runner Road Race. We saw record numbers of runners and even the weather cooperated. By all reports, it was another well organized event.
The days are getting longer and the spring sports season and spring Drama Club production can not be far behind. Come on over and support all our students as they strive to be the best they can be.
