During Lent the city bars and restaurants serve traditionals dishes such as torrijas and pestiños authenthic delicacies that satisfy delicacies both the palathe and the soul. And don't forguet alpisteras, a typical local sweet taht will leave no one indifferent.

The particularity of holy week in Sanlúcar resides is great in the intineraries, many times abrupt, throught which its brotherhoods pass. The brotherhoods of Sanlúcar walk between the Barrio Bajo, in the lower part the city and the Barrio Alto, in the upper part. To do this, they must walk, up long, steep slopes between these two neighborhoods, trough narrow strets and secluded squares, from its beautiful and ancient churches and parishes. It also stands out for its imagery. Some of its images are several centuries old, and among the authors, Luisa Roldán, Francisco de Ocampo, Luis Álvarez Duarte or Antonio Eslava stand out.
The order of the Mystery floats (and some of the Palio floats) was as follows: Our Father Jesus of Peace (Confraternity of the Little Donkey); Our Father Jesus of the Prayer in the Garden; Most Holy Christ of Mercies (Confraternity of Sorrows); Our Father Jesus of Humility and Patience (Confraternity of the Little Cane); Our Father Jesus of the Captive (Confraternity of the Captive); Our Father Jesus of Silence, Most Holy Christ of the Redemption, Most Holy Mary of Love, and Saint John Baptist de La Salle (Confraternity of Silence); Our Father Jesus of Nazareth; Our Father Jesus of Consolation; Most Holy Christ of the Expiration; Most Holy Christ of Miracles, Our Mother and Lady of Sorrows, Saint John the Evangelist, Saint Mary Magdalene, and Most Holy Mary of the Rosary (Confraternity of Students); Most Holy Christ of the True Cross; Most Holy Mary of Sorrows; Brotherhood and Confraternity of Nazarenes of the Five Wounds, Holy Burial of Our Lord Jesus Christ, and Solitude of Most Holy Mary.
