Is a doble fase cross sectional study which is being conducted in school-aged population of Tarragona.
This project aims to investigate the epidemiology of autism spectrum disorders (ASD), social communication disorder (SCD), and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) at the provincial level. It will analyze psychopathological, neuropsychological, and sociodemographic aspects, as well as the influence of prenatal, perinatal, and postnatal risk factors, including environmental toxicant exposure.

The project expects to identify subclinical symptoms and undiagnosed cases, particularly among males, with a focus on detecting unidentified intellectual disabilities. High psychopathological comorbidity and interference in family and school environments are anticipated. Additionally, the project aims to explore associations between early risk factors, including environmental pollution, and psychopathological symptoms and neuropsychological functioning.
