Heureusement, dans une des salles du musée, se trouve le modèle original d'Auguste Bartholdi, créateur de la statue.
Grâce à ce modèle, il sera possible de reconstruire la torche à l’identique. Encore faut-il pouvoir accéder à cette salle...
Il n’existe qu’une seule porte d’entrée mais elle est verrouillée par un ingénieux dispositif de sécurité.
Pour l’ouvrir, il faudra récupérer des pièces d'un puzzle à travers les différents quartiers et monuments de New York.
Soyez observateurs, à l’écoute et vous réussirez à redonner à la Statue de la Liberté sa célèbre torche.

Step 1
Cut the top off the paper cup so that it is about 7 to 10 cm deep.

Use the sharpened end of the pencil to punch holes through the bottom of the cup.

Cut 5 cm from the bottom of the cardboard tube.

Step 4
Make slits about 2,5 cm apart and 1 cm deep around the end of the tube. Fold the cut edges down, as shown.

Paint the tube and the inside and outside of the cup.We mixed a blue-green paint with white to match the color of the statue of liberty.For the inside of the cup, we used a dark brown. Let dry.

To make the flame for the torch, start by threading a red Glitter Stick through 2 holes in the bottom of the cup.

Continue adding gold and red glitter sticks and yellow fuzzy sticks through the holes in the cup until the flame looks full.Bend and shape the fuzzy sticks to look like flames.

Glue the cardboard tube to the cup using the cut flaps created in step 4 for gluing.
