- Protecting staff and visitors by ensuring that everyone can be evacuated and accounted for in the event of a fire or other emergency.

When entering through a badge-required access door, each employee must badge in for themselves. No “tailgating," or "piggybacking," is authorized.

It is your responsibility, to ensure that the door is securely closed behind you when exiting the building. If someone is following you when entering the building, they must badge or swipe in individually to gain entry.

HSA Policies
- Photo IDs must be worn so that they are visible.
- Security Guards will require anyone not wearing a photo ID to obtain a temporary badge. Badges issued by Security (North lobby only) and must be returned at the end of the day.
- HSA Staff who forget their badge must obtain a temporary badge.
- Repeated failure by HSA Staff to wear and display the agency provided badge may result in disciplinary action.
- It is the responsibility of all HSA Supervisors/Managers to ensure that staff follow these rules.

Lost or Stolen ID Badge?
- Employees must immediatly report lost or stolen badges to HSA Information Systems Helpdesk x81553.
- Badge replacement cost is $10 and is the responsibility of the employee.
- Badges that require updating, i.e., name change etc. will be reissued at no charge to the employee.
