Marine Gardens
Site of our Sea Lion presentations (Marine Gardens back area). Go behind the scenes to view fun-loving South American sea lions! Learn interesting facts and hear about ongoing research from our knowledgeable team of Animal Welfare Specialist. *Limited Seating Available.
Undersea Observatory
Descend below the sea to view a natural coral reef teeming with fish and other marine creatures. The only one of its kind in the Caribbean, our air-conditioned Undersea Observatory Tower stands 100 feet offshore. It is a three story tower with the lowest level taking you 15 feet below the surface, where you can view the ever-changing life on a natural coral reef. Enjoy spectacular views of the St. Thomas shoreline and neighboring islands from the top level.
Turtle Pool
Marvel at the beauty and grace of our resident green sea turtles in their seaside pool. Rescued as hatchlings, our green sea turtles were first introduced to water at Coral World. Smaller than the palm of an adult hand at that time, today each weighs well over two hundred pounds! In addition to caring for our own non-releasable turtles, Coral World serves as a rehabilitation center for sick or injured turtles for TLC before release back to the wild.
Caribbean Reef Encounter
Discover the incredible diversity of a living Caribbean coral reef recreated in this 80,000-gallon tank. Experience the frenzy when our diver enters the tank for feedings. The aquarium is open to the elements, which means the hundreds of reef animals that are housed here receive natural day and moonlight and experience rain just like a natural reef would. This is an important factor in keeping the many corals and sponges alive.
Touch Pool
Get a real “hands-on” experience! Gently handle starfish, sea cucumbers, and other touchable sea creatures. Designed to teach guests about the interesting animals living in the pool, the Touch Pool offers close observation of sea star, sea cucumbers, sea anemone, conchs and other shallow-water creatures.
Dolphin Sea Sanctuary
Learn about the intelligence and agility of dolphins and the importance of respecting the integrity of the marine ecosystem in which they live. The dolphin sea sanctuary features a large, open swim space for the dolphins, as well as areas designed to facilitate animal healthcare. There are also areas throughout where dolphins can choose to explore on their own.

Stingray Lagoon
See if you can find all the stingrays that live in our Stingray Lagoon! Masters of disguise, the Southern Stingrays bury themselves in the sand for camouflage. Look for the hint of an eye or tip of a tail showing in the sand to discover them. Watch as these gentle, graceful creatures glide around the pool seeming to fly through the water. They often slap their “wings” against the wall of the pool hoping for a handout of fish.
The Beach Café
Open During Park Hours Enjoy a seaside breakfast! Select from a variety of options like eggs, hash browns, pancakes, French toasts and so much more. Try a local bush tea. For Lunch, try a burger, sandwich, hot dog and other treats at this open-air bar. Try Coral World's signature frozen mango drink, the Shark Bite.
