Stimulus
In a Stimulus item type, instructors can:
- Provide students with a stimulus including PDFs, images, text, Google Drive items, and more.
- Attach questions (all item types available) to a stimulus for students to demonstrate their understanding.
- Note: If a question is not attached to the stimulus, the stimulus will not appear in students' quizzes.

- Instructors can set word count, word limit, spell-check, and Rich Content Editor options for students’ essay responses.

In a multiple-answers question,

Fill in the Blank
In a fill-in-the-blank question, students type in the missing word(s) or phrase(s) to complete a statement.
- Use the drop-down option and enter a statement and surround a word with backticks to indicate where a user will fill in the answer (e.g., "Roses are `red`, violets are `blue`")
- Each blank space is given a point value calculated by dividing the total points possible by the number of blank spaces. Correct answer choices are awarded this point value and no points are subtracted for incorrect answers.
