Essential info about online resources
These are databases in the humanities, social sciences and natural sciences, which are available 24 hours a day, even from home (you can save or print most of the material if necessary).
What you'll find in the online resources:
- books,
- journals,
- conference materials,
- bibliographical, statistical and
factual data,
- psychological tests,
- dissertations,
- other scientific and popular documents
If you are looking for a specific book, article or resource, or would like to find out more about the literature on a particular topic, select the Everything option in the catalogue
If you want to view a list of all databases and services or if you are looking for a specific database, select Online Resources
Enter the term you are looking for here (title, author's name, subject or keywords) and click Search

Using Primo, the search results provide descriptions of both paper and electronic books, as well as reviews, magazine articles and even videos.
Select available online to see only those materials that have access to the full text.
This book has an electronic version. Click on "Available online" for a link to the full text.

Click on the name of the database you wish to use and select the suitable entrance
If you are on the UW premises (using Wi-Fi or computers in BUW, faculty libraries or other UW units), select UW computers.
Here you will find an alphabetical list of all databases and services containing electronic magazines, books and newspapers
If you are working on a computer or other device outside the University, connecting from another network, select Home computers and log in using your library account data
