This 2.4GHz, IEEE® 802.11b/g/n-compliant IC includes an integrated High-Power Amplifier (HPA), Low-Noise Amplifier (LNA), and RF switches for TX/RX control. The WILCS02IC, a Link Controller IC, features a hardware-based security accelerator and operates at a single supply voltage (3.3V typical). Additionally, the WILCS02 module offers Secure Digital Input Output (SDIO) or Serial Peripheral Interface (SPI) for host controller interfacing. It is available with either an onboard PCB antenna or a U.FL connector for an external antenna. Overall, WILCS02 Wi-Fi® Network Controller Modules deliver a single-chip solution for Wi-Fi connectivity and network management that connects a MCU with minimal resource requirements. Since these devices are easy to work with, network controller modules are well-suited for a wide variety of IoT applications, including smart home and security systems, smart factories and industrial automation, wearable health care and fitness devices.
