This course is designed for a total study time of 36 hours, which includes self-study, exploration of AI tools, and the completion of the final project. It is equivalent to a one-credit course for undergraduates. To enhance your learning experience, you are encouraged to spend approximately 2 hours on each module. In addition to the course content, you should:
- Complete self-checking multiple-choice questions
- Participate in required discussion questions
- Finish the final project
- Experiment with recommended AI platforms and tools
- Explore provided references and library resources

- Click rate exceeds 70% of the course
- Complete all the module quiz questions

A Foundational Course to Explore AI and the Performing Arts
In light of the rapid advancement of technology, this e-course aims to provide foundational knowledge of Artificial Intelligence within the context of the performing arts. In addition to exploring artistic creations, it offers strategies to enhance artists' language skills, project management abilities, and other competencies essential for career success. The course is designed to improve students' employability, refine teachers' pedagogical approaches, and promote self-directed learning within our community. Upon completion of the course, you will be able to:
• Explain basic terminology and concepts related to Artificial Intelligence; • Elaborate on the usage of generative AI and its implications; • Propose ways to incorporate AI into performing arts; • Discuss potential ethical issues related to AI; • Identify properties of data and suggest methods for applying data in artistic creations; • List strategies for leveraging AI to enhance self-directed learning.
