I am a rodent that lives in trees, just like the Garden Dormouse, but with a long tail. I climb head over heels down the trees and, with my tail held high, I run like a flash on the ground. I am a real tree acrobat, balancing on branches and jumping from tree to tree. My nest, up in the trees, is a 30cm diameter branch ball, covered in grasses and mosses. I live in pine, oak, beech and chestnut woods, but I do not like stone oaks. I like pine nuts and nibbling on pine cones.
