LET'S PLAY

I am mammal that looks like a long cat, my fur is red-brown/grey/yellow with black spots. I have a long black striped tail which helps me to keep my balance when jumping. I use a mosk- cent from my gland to mark my territory, hence my other name, Mosk Cat. I am a nocturnal and solitary animal. I live in densely wooded areas where I climb trees to hunt, hide and breed in tree holes. I feed mainly on mice and less on reptiles, birds, eggs and insects. I am very shy so it is quite difficult to spot me alive in the wild. I like to climb trees and pull myself up on the horizontal branches. Paw prints (similar tothose of a cat) and droppings in high places can be hints to my presence.
