LET'S PLAY
I like living close to humans, in roof barns, bell towers or abandoned farmhouses. I am a night hawk, a species of owl: big eyes and a flat face, but with the peculiarity that almost all of my plumage is white. You will find me at night, flying over the fields, or sitting on telephone poles and other high places. I have been persecuted throughout many years and am now an endangered species. Did you know that I play an important role in controlling the population of rodents such as rats and mice? For a long time, I was the victim of popular myths and completely made up and false beliefs. It was said that anyone who saw me would die within a few days, so my fellow creatures were killed and nailed to the door with their wings open to frighten away evil spirits..
