The Englewood Cliffs wildfire consumed 39 acres in the area of the Palisades Interstate Parkway, in Bergen County. The fire closed local roads like Henry Hudson Drive. The fire was comparably small to other fires that ravaged the state in November, but it was significant as it was yet another sign of the extremely arid conditions New Jersey was suffering from in November.

The Shotgun Wildfire burned 350 acres in the Colliers Mills Wildfire Management Area in Jackson Township in Ocean County. Some roads were closed due to the fire like Stump Tavern Road, which was also the area most directly affected by the fire. The wildfire was dubbed 'Shotgun' because the fire was caused by an arsonist who shot a shotgun round which ignited the fire.
