General Introductıon
Introduction
"Inspirational people,beacons of hope" is an etwinning project. We aim to raise awareness on global citizenship and prioratize our students' personal developments during their lifetime. Therefore, We would like our student do research about people who have a positive impact/ change on their society. Those people who achieved to reach their goals in their paths may be alive or not. Students will also perform some other works such as logos,posters,ebooks and virtual exhibiton.

• Promote understanding of active citizenship and the impact of inspirational figures.
• Celebrate the contributions of individuals from different cultures and backgrounds.
• Enhance research and presentation skills through collaborative activities.
• Foster cross-cultural awareness and teamwork among students.
First week
Project process january 2025
Students will be chosen for the project. They will be registered as members on twinspace. Teachers will introduce themselves on twinspace. Teachers will share tasks among themselves.
Second week
Parents permission documents will be uploaded on twinspace. Students will introduce themselves creating an avatar for themselves on twinspace.
Third week
Students will design logos and posters for the project. Teachers will have an online meeting.
Second week
Project process February 2025
A logo and poster competition will be done for each school. A pre-test will be prepared and applied for teachers and students.
Third and Fourth week
The elected logos and posters of each school will be in a contest to identfy the logo and the poster of the project. An online meeting for students will be held.
First week
project process March 2025
Multicultural student groups will be formed. They will do research on inspirational people of their countries in different fields.
Second and Third week
Students will create a calendar for inspirational people in Literature field.
Fourth and Fifth week
Students will continue to form a calendar with the pioneer people in literature.
First week
project process aprıl 2025
Students will discuss on whom they are going to introduce as inspirational figures with their teams in the ebook .
Third Week
Students will set up their work to design an ebook.
They will do research on works of inspirational people (a painting, quotes from their books, poems, mottos etc.).
Fourth Week
Students will design the ebook with their team mates.

First and Second week
In order to accomplish our joint work(acrostic poem writing) teachers and students will decide on the teams. Teachers will arrange a meeting with students to write the poem with multicultural teams. An online meeting will be held to accomplish the poem writing task with the guidance of a mentor teacher. Each partner school will design school bulletin boards to introduce the project and emphasize the etwinning day. Teachers will prepare an online test for the etwinning day. (Citizenship)

First and Second week
Students will be lectured about Europe and European citizenship. An online meeting will be held with students for applying a quiz via Kahoot/Quizziz for etwinning day. They will also talk about people who inspires them.
Third and Fourth Week
Our joint work (the acrostic poem) will be composed in a variety of forms as a song via Suno.ai. A questionnaire will be prepared to select the anthem of the project via google forms. Students will begin to do preparations for the virtual exhibition.

The questionnaire will be carried out to select the anthem of our project. The virtual exhibition will be designed. Post project surveys will be done both for teachers and students.
Second week
Teachers and students will share their opinions, feelings about the project on forum page. All tasks will be checked and completed before the quality label application process. Teachers will apply for quality label.
