Coltishall Primary School has recently joined the myHappymind family, and they’re already noticing a positive impact on their children. Both in school and at home, families are engaging with myHappymind resources through the Parent App, helping to support emotional wellbeing beyond the classroom. Coltishall Primary School has created a quiet space for children. This inviting area includes books, blankets, and myHappymind materials, providing a calm and comforting environment where children can relax and self-regulate.

We would love to see any calm spaces you have created with your myHappymind resources!

East Ward Community Primary School, a 2-form entry school in Bury, is a shining example of how to bring myHappymind to life. Last year, they proudly achieved their Bronze Accreditation and continue to be fantastic ambassadors of the programme. The children at East Ward love using Happy Breathing exercises, both in class and independently, to support their emotional wellbeing. To enhance this further, the school has introduced a Happy Breathing Bench on the playground. This special bench is decorated with fairy lights, self-regulation tips, and myHappymind characters, creating a calm space where children can practice emotional regulation during playtime.

As we start the New Year, it’s a great time to plan moments for staff to pause and focus on their own well-being. Our staff well-being section, aligned with the five myHappymind modules, is CPD-certified and accessible to all staff members—not just teachers! We also have Mini Masterclasses available too. Click here to take a look. Top Tip: Dedicate time in a staff meeting for everyone to explore the staff well-being section on the portal and watch a session together. It’s a great way to start the conversation about well-being and encourage self-care practices. If you’d like to grant more staff members access to the myHappymind resources, simply contact your Customer Happiness Manager. Let’s make well-being a priority for your entire school team!

myHappymind Referrals! If you refer a school or nursery, and they join the myHappymind Family, you’ll receive £100 off your next renewal price as a thank you. And the great news is, there is no limit to the number of referrals you can make! If your school is currently funded by the Local Authority or the NHS, you can still benefit. As the children return back to the classroom, help them settle back into a routine using Happy Breathing activities.

Happy Breathing is a great tool to help children with transition, separation anxiety and to support them in feeling their best after a busy few weeks. Top Tip: Schedule a few moments every day for Happy Breathing. If you have Happiness Heroes set up, they could help organise this. You can find all Happy Breathing activities on the portal. Click Here to take a look.
