EU workers have the right to work in any EU member state without the need for a work permit.
EU workers cannot be discriminated based on their nationality, concerning the working conditions and social or tax benefits. "Hidden" discrimination, such as unnecessary language requirements, is also prohibited.
Workers are allowed to enter and stay in another member state for up to six months for job searching. This right can be extended if the individual continues to seek work and has a realistic chance of being hired.
Family members of workers have the right to join the worker in another EU country and live there.
