Amalfi Lemons
Amalfi lemons are an integral part of Italian culture. Since the Ancient Romans Amalfi lemons have been depicted on grand mosaic frescos, and in the 19th century the fruit was responsible for reshaping the previously uncultivated landscape, and booming the Italian economy. Today, they are commonly found in Limoncello and the zest is incorporated in many of Italy's traditional pastas, desserts and risottos; it's also in aromatic oils. Since 1954, the number of lemon terraces cultivating Amalfi lemons have decreased by a third. Numbers are currently dwindling due to the effects of climate change as well as increased clearing of lands with an increased focus on Italian tourism.

The species of vanilla known as Vanilla Panifolia is a vital ingredient in producing vanilla exrtract. The potent Vanilla Panfolia is found in a plethora of beloved baked desserts, and in many beauty products. In 2017 International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) assessed vanilla panfolia as an endangered species.

Coffee
The typical go-to morning drink, coffee, is currently under threat of extinction with the Climate Institute reporting that by 2050 production of coffee will decrease by 50%. Since its first brewing in mid-15th century Arabia, coffee has spread to all corners of the globe. Its prominence in human civilization, and impact on mankind’s social interactions has led to the coining of the term “Coffee Culture Theory”. Areas cultivating coffee beans are increasingly under threat of the effects of climate change.
