Otitis Externa
Is an infection of the skin of the ear canal and can be very common. Outer ear Infections are generally caused by a bacterial infection of the skin of the canal, although occasionally it may be due to a fungus or yeast (also known as otomycosis)

Typically, individuals suffering from Otitis Externa may experience difficulties with their hearing. Consequently, their hearing check results are likely to fall outside the range considered normal (with points below the 25dB threshold).
